Tony there is an area in your AMSA profile where you can place a particular activity and location that you will be involved with. This would be where you entered your details of an upcoming event so that search and rescue time is minimized and if that activity is not related to aviation then so be it. Your device is for your personal protection whatever the activity I would assume. Bushwalkers have the same options.
