The following mandatory service bulletins have been released by Rotax. They deal with oil filters on 912 and 914 series engines. You may be interested to know that a member"s 914 was destroyed due to an incorrectly fitted oil filter that allowed the engine oil to be pumped overboard in a very short space of time. Please be guided accordingly.
