The Mosquito and the Helicycle both use gyro rotor blades successfully, I don"t know about the Brumby and there are other single seat gyro"s out there that I know nothing about. So the answer is yes.Graeme.

The Mosquito uses Boyette gyro blades with the twist negative instead of positive.Same profile blade.Others I have seen have slightly non symmetrical shape, flatter underside like gyro blades, for better auto-rotating qualities during engine failure.

Jan,The blades on my single seat helicopter (Lone Star) are using a modified gyro blade with significant beefing up around the blade root area due to the increased loads from a driven rotor head and much higher RRPM. It is not as simple as just bolting on a set of gyro blades!Adrian
