anyone interested in lighter weights and plenty of go should check out the Suzuki 1.3 turboed and intercooled. Talking to Menzy and he has tried a few difernt combinations, he reckons it leaves the rest for dead.I think it has over 300 hours up on it without any problems.Brian

We weighed an ej-20 SOHC with a Sub4 gear box with everything except the exhaust and water plumbing the aother day and it was 120 kg.The VNE for your Raf will be in the flight manual. What did you Raf end up as an empty weight? That should be in the flight manual also.I flew a 100 hp 912 uls in a Raf in South Korea. Had no get up and go compared to the Soob. I reckon they are pony power!!! The performance was terrible. 30% longer take off run. Everything else was equal. We changed back to the Soob the next day to get the performance back to train.
