    Yes and No.....I didn"t have a prerotator in the early days but I was a lot fitter too!!Getting them up to 50 or 60 by hand isn"t a problem and if you have a slight breeze no worries. Too strong a breeze and you cant get them over the hump before they flap. All in the technique.I did about 400 hours in a two seater with a set of 27"s and I found they hung on well at the landing phase especially if the student messed it up and had to go around. One kilo tip weights traveling at around 350 RPM take a bit to slow down.
