Spent 4 days Mt cook, trekin about, flying about, over/around fox and franz glaziers, 2 days wanaka then flew over to milford, treked for 3 days there, flew back to wanaka, then hit the road again......missis fell in love with henmer springs town.Southern and western south island.......brilliant, them marlborough sounds top south.....great tooNorth Is..........Bay of islands cruising about.......brilliant,.......rest of north Is......so soAuckland city...............spot the "whitey".......place is over run with "Indians and chinese"........unreal........they is everywhere there.Noted on the media one day they ( NZ ) are crakin up that kiwis living in Oz no longer can claim for OUR "benefits" etc etc, rekin they pay tax here, so claiming benefits etc should be allowed........Oz bloke on talkback radio told em.......what about you kiwis that work for 6mths in Oz, then get onto dole for 6 yrs.........yea was getting a hot topic.Wanker comentators were calling it UNFAIR.............unreal

Yea graham, it"s brilliant.We want to head back with gyro in tow.........am going to go through the "red tape" to know EXACTLY what we are in for. If it"s not a "normal" aeroplane / helo / balloon etc...........getting permission to fly one there ( gyro ) is just playing musical chairs from dept to dept....."frustrating" is me beein polite here. There"s Ag planes buzzin everywhere.........bananas / mangos / pineapples etc..........strips everywhere to use........but getting the nod to fly a gyro.....forget it. Could take up hang gliding I spoze......plenty of high peaks to leap off. Must admit tho, "trikes" were a definate possibility there, they are known as a "flying machine"One matter that"s high on their agenda is "beef cattle"....since the ozy stuffup there (asia) mega bucks is getting spent setting up feedlots, inhouse breeding etc, they is hell bent on never getting caught out again.
