Thanks Elwynne but I have done the trip Yesterday.I have routed from Ycab to Gayndah -walked into town for fuel.Then Smokey Creek for a quick refuel from my own tanks.Next stop was St Lawerence and the Marian at Mackay.

must have been you I saw fly almost directly over my place yesterday. I should have gotten on here a day earlier & you could have dropped in on the way through.

if you do the gayndah airstrip again , the citrus orchard on the left at the airport is a fw"er and has a plane at the airport.[Hamish is an ex british commercial pilot ] i"m sure he would give you a lift into town if you asked him or I could. his wife is learning to fly also and back a few years now, she was in England on a tv show looking for her ancisters/father I think . anyway while there she was in a spitfire doing some flying around
