Birdy "dunney Door " some call a tall tail that.I personally am not taken by the 'dunney door. While I have yet to fly a 'tall tail ' I have had no problems with the conventional tail setup and I actually like the tail being a bit further back in the natural airstream.Just my opinion!!Brian.Murray, I loose lots of points cause my old gyro is covered in bugs, cow poo and other assorted stuff !!!You never know how far you can go, till you get there !

brian, the airstream directly behind a bloody great prop could hardly be called natural...

Woz, You also had 6 minature Australian flags hanging from your rotor tie down strap when you are well aware the maximum under the ANO's is five.(ANO 69/54 far/q)It's cowboys like you that give gyro's a bad name.M Barker

Magnerl, well, if the motor stopped, the tail would be in the "natural" airflow !! Robert, what can I say,If there's a better looking RAF out there, post some pictures of it !!I'm not surprised that Stans gyro looks so good after seeing the curved stairway he built. Obviosly a perfectionist.I think those rotors are those expensive Sport Copters too. They are alloy extruded baked in a fine enamel paint and then worked up to shine.BrianYou never know how far you can go, till you get there !

The most beautiful Raf, or any aircraft that I have seen. Belongs to Nael Samawi in Bachus Marsh 50 km west of Melbourne.Image Insert: 67.69 KBwww.firebirdgyros.com

Woz, Seven flag's ?!!!, that makes it even worse. If Alan wasn't so busy refueling he would have grounded you.We also did a fuel sample out of your tank and found it was contaminated with oil, about two parts per hundred,What have you got to say about that?.M Barker

Very neat dash indeed!! Very nice GPS[colour] as well.I like the colour scheme but the red of Stans machine is hard to beat and Naels' dash lacks the flag on it !!!!Anyone else got any photos of good looking RAF's we can drool over ??Thanks Paul for the photos. I read in a post that there are 500 odd RAFs in circulation. Be interesting knowing how many that now have stabs on them. I see also that its got the EJ 2.5 powering it. Should be able to outclimb Birdys RAF easily with those horses .BrianYou never know how far you can go, till you get there !
