Yeah very sad sad news to hear. The accident happened about 8am on sunday morning.Yes Dean was very good at what he did, i had a few times mustering on the ground whilst dean was in the air.He will be sadly missed in this area as he was very well known and respected. Our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.

There is no doubt Dean was a very good pilot, extremely experienced, knew his work inside out, yet he got caught out by something pretty simple.Like all accidents, that was a bit of stuff that led up to what happened. Allan will post once he has a final report.
