Gidday All,CASA has released some guidance material primarily for instructors, but interested members may find some value in the contents. I expect that this will need to be included into the instructor training syllabus in the future. In the interim, I"ll include the link below:CAAP 5.59-1(0) - Teaching and Assessing Single Pilot Human Factors and Threat and Error Management which is designed to provide guidance to flying instructors and ATOs about teaching and assessing single pilot human factors and threat and error management is now available on the CASA website. This and other CAAPS are available from: http://www.casa.gov.au/rules/caap.htmAfter reading and understanding these concepts, newbies like Narn as well as experienced pilots may be able to recognise and eliminate threats before an error occurs in their operation, thus preventing an accident.I trust that some will get some value from this document.Regards,Allan Wardill.
