    Nationals - Cooma Easter 2005

The wonderful men controlling flying machines in Australia have come through as promised! I now have the CASA 'Instrument of Permission' in my hand. The Permission applies to the period commencing Thursday 24th March and ceases to have effect at the end of Monday 28th March, whilst Cooma licensed aerodrome is temporarily designated as a CTAF.Everyone planning to fly must attend all briefings before being allowed to fly, and we have to understand that all other paragraphs in CAO 95.12 still apply to single seat gyroplanes, and all other paragraphs in CAO 95.12.1 still apply to two seat gyroplanes. They wish our group all the best for the safe and enjoyable flight of our gyroplanes.Thank you to the CASA staff who have worked very hard on this Instrument. Under normal circumstances this would not have been possible to achieve in this time-frame. Thank you CASA, especially Rob Glenn, Andrew Ward, Arthur White, John Flannery, Richard MacFarlane, and Bruce Gemmell, and any one else involved.LlewellaGoing the extra miles puts you miles ahead of your competition.
