  • Membership Renewal

Just printed off Form F009 to renew membership for 2011 but noticed the revision date on the bottom of the form is 14 June 2009 although at the top of the form it says 2010-2011.

The correct form should be availavle shortly, apolagies to those trying to do the right thing. It hasnt been easy with changes happening, some changes to make things easier for the user. I may be wrong but I think fees are the same as last year, however, dont quote me on that.ASRA is in good shape money wise thanks to Russ and the likes who have got good interest rates and made the banking cheaper etc. Yes, definately more instructors /TA"s etc get to gethers and we do have a number of new memebers and new gyros coming onto he scene .Thanks for the patience guys !!! We are doing our best I assure you.....

Dear guys,As you would all know, Im Not one to Complain, however, I seem to remember last year we were in a similar situation. With less than a month to go before subs are due there is no clear indication of how much we are to pay.same as last year.Personally, I would be happy to pay the subs as soon as possible and I have defended paying the membership from December to December on many occasions (it doesnt matter when it is due, as long as we know at least a month before it is due!) Last year, I had a balls up and got the membership forms and cheque bundled up to send with other mail on the 27th Dec to avoid the late fees. In my mind, the job was done. A message came back that the Membership card machine was down and that cards would be late getting out, so I didnt freak out when my card hadnt arrived. What I dint know was that

Sorry, I failed to mention that the time frame has been extended out to the end of Febuary to help. Point taken Mark and no offence taken BTW, I realize the delays are unacceptable, however there has been stuff that has to be done for this renewal, no other way around it. Hopefully, everyone will see it in a positive light.BTW, we are actually making in roads to making the system better...yes, I know, wasnt that happening about 4 years ago ?

Thanks Brian,Just come in from crutching and marking my huge mob of sheep (12) with hand shears, Jacky Howe eat yer heart out! Its 27 here today and the flies are just starting to get mobile after the rain. Ever wondered why Cattlemen prefer Cattle? Cause sheep stink and Cattle dont have wool and all the crap that goes along with it.Anyway, Its good that the membership date is extended to the end of Feb and I look forward to paying the dues.Mark.

HelloI was just looking at the new rego forms and it asks for the distance in cmbetween the propeller thrust line and the vertical centre of gravity. How should we distinguish on the form if the thrust line is above or below the COG when we put in the measurements? RegardsRob
