Hi all,Happy New Year and all that stuff.I hope there was a lot of flying going on over the holiday period and that people were taking pictures and mentally logging "interesting" stories they can pass on to their refreshed editor for the next Gyro News.I must fess up to a few errors in the Summer edition that were absolutely my fault (first time jitters) and a few more I must pass on to our printers (holiday season madness).With that in mind I'm even more enthuisiastic to make the Autumn issue much better.While the Summer Gyro News is fresh in your minds, have a think about something for the next issue. A few words and a couple of photos go a long way.The nationals will be soon after the Autumn issue comes out so its great timing for classified ads and raising interests in new or long suffering projects.I remember being excited about getting to the 2005 nationals at Cooma so I could see some of the machines featured from past Gyro News issues. Art,A great first magazine, you can only work with the material you recieve from contributors, I for one have failed you in this dept, without this membership imput, the only other way to fill up the magazine is to take from books, the Internet etc, this is not as personal or as interesting as first hand members contributions, which can go from the humorous to the serious, and as they are recent events are more interesting, so to you guys out there reading this, give Art some contributions, even if they are "****-ups" we all learn from them, the more contributions, the bigger and more interesting the magazine.Pete Barsden

Your style though different is very refreshing Birdy and an article about your daily tasks using the feral around your block of dirt would be most interesting. You have a bit of a fan club of sorts down in these parts and we are trying to emulate your style of english but it seems to end up more like its written by one of those foreign characters that ring you trying to sell phone services. An idea for an article could be " the climbing downind turn" this article was in the Ultralaight magazine some time ago. I will try and find the magazine so I can give you all the details. It was well written and easy to understand. While its author and the article were aimed at the FW fraternity, I thought it had merits for the gyro mob as well.Just a thought.Brian
