My first post. I am a dentist and want dry clean air. Refrigerated air is expensive. I have two traps off the compressor, both with valves at the bottom so that I can purge moisture. My drive line is mounted so that any moisture runs back towards the compressor. At the bottom I have a tap so that I can purge if needed. I used to get a small amount of moisture collecting here.A truckie told me about oilfilters he fitted. which used toilet paper as the element. He had one in his ute which had done about 600,000km without an oil change, just filter change. His oil on the dip stick looked brand new.So I went looking for this system and found it for about $140. The bloke said he had a number of spraypainters using it successfully so I also put that in line. Works like a dream. I have had the expense of changing the paper about once every two years, and no longer check the tap on the line, as it is always dry.I check my air in the surgery by blasting it on a cold mirror. Any condensation indicates problems. No problems with this system, and negligible running costs. At one time I had a coil of copper after the compressor, before the filters, as they work better on cold air.Graham
