I am about to change out a overflow bottle on my 582 rotax can anybody off hand tell me what the mix ratio that is recommended?Mitch

Mitch, I have always just used a full bottle(200 ML?) of the Castrol concentrate topped of with de-mineralized water.Thats for the whole cooling system which I changed every 12 months.

Thanks Muzz,I seem to remember mixing mine 50/50 in a bucket. Weathers lousy and the roofs not finished yet. Cheers,Mitch

Mitch,Just be careful as premix go"s off over time if left in the bottle. (more than 5 years). Also premix comes in different mix ratio"s from 70:30 to 50:50. I recommend you buy some castrol concentrate and some de-mineralised water and mix yourself 50:50.

Excellent Advice Cheers.I think my bottle was a 50/50 mix, green and will get a bottle of the clean water too. ;DHave fun at Quobba, ya lucky devil. Hear Shannon might be doing the trip with you in his Monarch. Fly safe and enjoy.I"m off to Temora and then on to Burren. Mitch
