    Any thoughts on the all new 912is fuel injected, its being released this month.There is a right up in last months Sport pilot mag.Matt.

    Yep, I"ve got some thoughts.They are way too expensive for what you get, I can buy a nice new family car for that amount.It is still old technology.Spare parts are very high price and not quickly sourced.Wounder how many AD"s come out for it?How about this http ://www.vikingaircraftengines.com/news/News.htmlMuch cheaper, smoother running, replacement and maintenance parts from auto store, runs on any fuel and the list goes on.Graeme.

      Had a bit of a look at it, would be nice to see some real world fuel consumption figures, Pitty its still 100hp,If anything good comes out of it hopefully it drags the price of a 912uls down... ha.. yeah right...Couple pic"s i stole off the web for people that haven"t seen it below...

        If its still only 100hp, what is there to gain? Slightly better fuel consumption and not having to balance carbies? No ice?

            If its still only 100hp, what is there to gain? Slightly better fuel consumption and not having to balance carbies? No ice?yeah pretty much its just a EFI 912, and you can sleep well at night knowing your putting less CO2 into the atmosphere
