anyone know anythieng about theise engines they seam to be advertised every ware?http://www.ulpower.com/ 130 hp weight about right 78kg (914 70kg plus)redundant EFIno radiators gearboxes exra plumbing ect total number of parts must be way less than a 912does anyone know if a direct drive engine gives more torque roll than a gear box engine?dont get me wrong love me 912 just an interesting engine is all simplicity and HP would have to make it a good mustering engine?

130 neddies and EFI. What"s not to like? It is aircooled....fine in a cowl in front of a plank, just not a winner in an open pusher gyro. Enclosed, that may be a different story.Radiators and gearboxes aren"t that evil. The MW Aero engine. 130 Neddies, EFI and liquid cooled. What"s not to like? It is Italian...unfortunately, in my experience, Italian engineering and reliability are mutualy exclusive. Think Lamborghini, Lombardini, Ruggerini, Landini or any other example of eeni engineering you can think of. If it ever becomes real, the Motus V4 out of the states will be the average gyro builders wet dream...Miles
