Iv just got a gray head 582, taken it out of the box and found that there is nothing after the carbi"s, is there an air box that adapts to them or do the air filters just go straight onto the carbi"s ?? As i not nothing about them nor seen one up close.Someone may have some pics maybe.Cheers Matt.

Matt,Also make sure the filters are lockwired to the safety tab on the carbi otherwise they will end up in the prop even when a good worm drive hose clamp is used. I also suggest you google Rotax Owners and subscribe then you will have access to great doco and video "how to". The fee is around $30 but well worth it .A great resource for any Rotax aircraft engine model.Just my 10c as usualAdrian
