Hi Tony, I have a brand new Link ecu for sale cheapish. If you contacted Link in NZ and find out if it would drive an Ea81.

this photo is from air trikes, http://www.airtrikes.net/engines.shtml , photo shows direct injectors.
if using a SPFI (single point fuel injection in the throttle body, a throttle body of a Holden Camira would probably do.
