I just happend to see the new Rotax 582 the other day.It was being shipped out to Airbourne for testing.This new engine is identified by a Red head instead of the current blue. Seems the big difference is its new exhaust system, jetted carbs, and increased HP to 73hp.(not sure of any internal mods)I believe the cost will be about $900 extra for the upgrade.Will be very interesting to see what happens to the 618.The new engine is still not yet officially released, but is here.Regards Sam.
