Birdy, I was discussing your Eagle problem with my Lorikeet.( she thinks he sounds cute ).She believes that it may be a territorydispute and suggests that when yer going thru his, you wave a littlewhite flag ! He might just stand off and escort you thru.If its not over territory, then it has to be the THONGS he's after !She reckons that when you are in his vicinity you could try puttingthe Thongs down yer shirt where he cant see them, so he'll probablybacktrack to try and find em, allowing you time to escape.The other little blokes are just being friendly,coming up towelcome you as a fellow traveller.She always gives me good advice so it would be worth a try.Cheers.Robert DunnMackay. Mebe I should try a white flag.I pointed a stainless steal thingy at im once and it only p1ssed im off more. Hey Birdy, My 14 fantail pigeons voted that you 'smoke that little sucker', but I suspect it was racially motivated comment by them. BTW, any guess how many G's an eagle pulls in a dive or swoop? Just imagine him blackening out and unable to pull out... ker plop thru your rotors.Ted

Ha ha ha.........Your a crackup Phil.BTW, that ain't my thong, looks like it belonga longa camel by the size ofit.Duno bout eagles Ted, but we got some pereguin falcons ere that'd beet anything.When I woz a little takker, me n the old man woz set'n up a pumpjack on a mill during a wind drought and the tank had only a small puddle init. Mobs of finches were drink'n from it when I noticed this falcon bout 300' up, flyn big circuls. Next thing he folds up and dives streight down, christ knows wot speed e woz do'n when e got to the tank, but a fraction of a second later e cum out just as fast with a finch in a trail o feathers, ready plucked.I woz expectn a 'splat' and to see a big hole in the mud where e went in.Another thing, a few years ago I woz puttn along in the ferel, mindn me own business, and just happened to be lookn out to the right when I as a very fast blure go past me eyes.I looked up to see another type of falcon, a little critter, still go'n streight up.The cheecky basterd cum up underneath me and fluked a gap in me rotors.If I stuck me arm out I wouda stiffarmed im.Funny thing tho, a couple o days later I landed and when I caught the rotors I found guts sprayed over one of um.....hmmmmmmm.......... wunder who that woz?.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were.Ingratitude stinks.......be generous carefully.
