For water divining I use the crank off an old pushbike - get rid of the pedal but leave the spindle & bearing . I've used two bits of bent rusty fencing wire , but the pedal works better if you are walking over undulating ground. Des, have had the pleasure of feeding on Abolone & lobsters we caught in Geraldton a few years back - very nice.

Hi Paul & Echo, Water devining is like everything, there are those that sware by it and those that sware at it, Personaly I use a combernation of area sorce history, Topographical features, geological knowlege and to zero in on to the highest probability of the bore site being successful water devineing. I do not just use any one of the above on its own. My succes rate is 70 to 80 percent by my claim but others claim I do better.28 years of experiance has its merits[^]
