Telf, Well done!, I signed this machine off on my last trip to Darwin and as you would have seen its a well put together Gyro. The only recomendation I gave was to insrease the size of the HS or put it further back,Maybe a project for those cold winter months in the top end. Happy flying!.

Well put together doesn't quite do it justice up close does it Murray, it really is a work of art. All functional and no BS but superbly done. Not surprised that you mentioned the tail size or the close coupling of it.I have spoken to 3 other people (all long term TA's) and they have said the same thing.I will have a really good look at it after I fly it home on Saturday and see what I'll do.I'll probably investigate packing the nose wheel mount down a bit to shorten the side plates or replace it with a scissor action sprung wheel. As for 'cold winter months', they've been flying all year round up here since the last ice age. Thanks for the input, telfFlying - The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
