Hi Guys,A friend of mine is currently building a Bensen with a Subaru EA-81 direct drive setup.In order to satisfy the local "suits" that this is a Kosher setup, he needs tobe able to list three or more similar examples previously flown.I"m pretty sure this arrangement has been done a number of times,whether in the U.S or Oz I"m not so sure.Anyway, we would appreciate any info about previous examplesof this configuration.Registration letters is all we need. How many do you want, Fergus? I think it was in "98 that I went to the Nats at Lameroo, and the majority of the machines flying there were EA81 direct drives. I flew minew like that for 8 years. G569 is the rego. If you look back through the Gyro News of the "80"s you"ll see heaps of them.CheersFred
