  • Brian Maloney

I wish to advise of the death of ASRA member Brian Maloney.Brian suffered a heart attack last week and was in a coma until his passing yesterday.Brian was probably best known around the place for his expertize with Subaru engines. He was a meticulous person and this could be clearly seen in the workmanship on his gyro.He had gone for a fly that morning and was returning home, no doubt happy from his flight and unaware what happened.Probably the way we would all like to go.

I met Brian for the first time at the AGM in Caboolture and had a great chat, I had talked many times before but over the phone so it was great to catch up in person.Brian had plans to do a suby diesal conversion for a gyro which got me extremely interested and I said I would be very interested in seeing how he went. The gyro world is going to miss his expertise.Condolensces and prayers for Brian and his family.

g"day all, I"d just like to support all the good things that have been said about Brian. I didn"t ever meet Brian but I did have several phone conversations with him about my EJ20 and the trouble that I was experiencing with it. I found him very helpful and cooperative, he knew the soobies for sure, fixed me up. DANNY CAMEL
