Icom IC-A4E Radio Info...

Does anybody out there have one of the above radios or am I the only person in possession of a relic?

You should be able to go on the net and down load the manual. I have one works ok not hard to program if you get stuck I might have a book here.

Yep same radio I that I have. I have never needed a cable or computer to save frequencies.

Mine must be stuffed then.... pushing the VM button does nothing. Aways remains in MR mode.The local Icom guy reckons because it was the IC-A4E version (E=Europe), they disabled the programming capability.
