How much would you pay for EA 81 reco donk with turbo?I see one on the forum for around 5g"s, is this a

Chopper has this love affair with these tuboed E81,s.Not his favourite motor.Kym.

It was the EA 81 or a VW motor.

If it is reco"d properly that would be fine. Even if you buy an old motor and get it rebuilt it is going to costs you 4-5K I reckon.

Thanks All,My xmas"s came all at once, whilst pulling the motor out from all the bits n pieces surrounding it, we found a 2.16:1 Redrive for it.And bugger me dead today I had the fortune of finding another EA 81 with about 170k"s on it so will probably sell it to pay for the Reco one.So if any one is looking for a good condition EA81 let me know.
