    Anyone, anywhere, been lucky enough to find an insurance company that will come to the party with an at least half reasonable premium for public liability for their Gyro?If you have found one please drop me a line...Cheers Andrew

    Bloody premium aint worth it. I got mine covered with comprehensive, solong as they are parked in the hanger. :and i made sure they knew theres usualy a coupla thousand liters of premium in there too.

          It is a shame what has happened re insurance for our industry.Back in the mid 90s through to early 2000s I used to get $5 mill public liability for around a $1000. I needed the cover to fly at the Avalon airshows etc. That piece of paper sure opened many doors of where I could operate etc. Also at that time the ASRA ops manual said that instructors should carry public liability insurance if it was availible.               Jeff, half reasonable would be as Paul said about $1000 for 5 mill of public liability, but this figure is proving very hard to find....
