I"ve not had problems so far but anything is possible, thats the scary bit. Someone knocked a cheep lock off the container door 2 yrs. ago, but only got the door open 6inches when my police siren activated by a door switch. (prob. thought we had grog inside) And we think he"s still running! Noonamah is definately more secure. We are however about to leave a sparrow hawk out there again for 8 days.

The guy at Wycliff Well, 400km north of Alice put in an air strip on the edge of his road house / caravan park on aboriginal land which was part of thousands of square km. It would have been great not to have to risk lives landing on the road, but the land council made him plough it up. The sport aviators are always being screwed, and yet we can be so helpfull to society.

You is white fella, strip is owned by black fella............prob is you is dealing with a smart *rse cream fella.......he/she realise you is making HUGE $$$$$$$ ( they think it"s huge ) off their strip..........they want a piece of the cake. These "cream" fellas are dangerous animals in the main......deadset trouble makers. Well balanced as well..................chips on both shoulders.letting em know, you was earning $$$$$ was your problem. Sugest you see"s your local MP guy, maybe he could sort something...........BTW, tell em training is all over now............insurance is now too high. From you across to "Hughs" is about 30mins max..........depart from your strip there, head over to hughs for training circuits etc then just toddle back home strip at the end of training.......hughs, abandoned ww2 strip and semi sealed as well.
If you aim for nothing, you'll hit it every time

Be a bit like trying to bomb Tokyo in the early days of ww2. Run out of fuel half way home. Speaking of running out of fuel, the Sparrowhawk ran out on the runway after a landing. The dipstick read 3 inches, and the digital gauge said 16% before the circuit. Pickup pipe must be a bit high. Looks like we"d better knock off at 25% readings.
