It"s effectively a helicopter with the rockets running, when they run out of juice he will have to have airspeed, or he"ll sink, hopefully with an appropriate landing.

its a way to pre rotate - but i could think to much to go wrong - if one happen to not work- it does look a little nervy - hes got the t-bar set up and seems to be all over the place when he took off- its a great idea if you had no runway- but its not for mecheers adrian

he has got the controls copping a hiding for sure. can any one explain basically how it works, i understand the rockets bit but how does he get them fired or rather to start propulsing. remote control, solinoids, ???????? a little monkey with a hammer and nail on each rotor tip. ;D ;D ;D they would be a use once set up????

I think it"s like hydrogen peroxide in a tank drawn off the bottem with nitrogen presurized in the top, sort of like pouring beer from a keg.

You can pump the hydrogen peroxide through the catalyst under pressure or use an inert gas to push it through under pressure.Peroxide tip jets are extremely powerfull but treat the peroxide with respect as you are using close to 100% quality, the stuff you buy from the chemist ranges from 1/2 - 2%. The 100% stuff will boil the flesh clean of your bones.It is an interesting topic and great for a rainy days research.The attached photo"s are of the machine in the video.Graeme.
