Pwendell :Aaahhh, I did not read it as G for Gravity and just assumed you meant reduced airspeed......But of course you are correct that any nose down pitch change will decrease the G load the amount will be determined by the rate of pitch down....and the lower the airspeed and agressive the pitch down the more danger for the power pushover at high power...Chuck E.

Olbod :Hey no problem, computers are great tools to communicate with ...except there is no expression in them such as talking one on one and this leads to confusion as to what is said or meant sometimes. And my flying achivements are more a measure of years than anything else, **** just through osmosis we learn more the older we get...I still hope to get to Australia and do some more flying with the HARS gang someday...then I will look up a lot of you guys.Chuck E.

Hi there, the person to which I believe you are referring is a disgrace to the gyro community. He has a history of breaking the law and has been called to task by the authorities a number of times. He is what we commonly refer to as a cowboy.flyinhi

If you are refering to Paul Bruty at least he has the guts to put his real name on his profile.M Barker

cowboys can be gents and follow basic rules too!flyinhi, you bark about this every chance you can get but wont follow simple manners and fill out who you are.i used to hate reading niqu naque's posts but you take the cake for a reason not to read this forum.it is hard enough as it is starting out trying to filter the truth from crap, but more posts like yours will turn possible gyro pilots away from perservering with this site as i was.if it wasnt for gettin injured and bored recovering, with bones selling a gyro just 200 k's away id be flyin an ultrulight by now.simply, pull your head in!!ps, when i was startin to get interested i wished it was simpler to work out who knew what they were talkin about.i wished every one had approx flyin hours under their name in the left hand collum not number of posts(as some people have a lot of posts for the flyin time they have done) so it was easier to disern who was the real deal.just my thoughts

"So does anyone else here see or understand why I am so puzzeled by all this?"Its all pretty simple Chuck ol mate, we're ozzys and they is yanks, easy.[ that should score a bite or two.]And the next w@nker who says the PB **** fight is a tall poppy thing, I'll.........., I'll think o sumthn.I couldn't give a stuff if he was a bludger off the street corner or JC himself, I'd still say the same things bout him.He just happens to be[or woz] a high profile instructer, coz thats where he put himself with his advertising and forum posting, and this fact should mean he has a big responsability to the public to be HONEST.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were.Ingratitude stinks.......be generous carefully.

Well.....that got things going Chuck...Now I getting puzzled ....perhaps its this getting older thing !!!I cannot believe that someone would or could instruct a student in a gyro to push the cyclic forward to level out without first reducing power !!!!!!!! Even if the instructor had 50,000 hours experience !!!You never know how far you can go, till you get there !

I was looking at the map of the world and thought, hmmmm things sure are quiet in Australia so I just thought I would take my electronic stick and sort of stir up the ants down there...[]Sure enough it only took a few minutes and the ants were running all over the place and attacking each other like they are demented....why it even spread to the other side of the world and in no time at all the other ants on the other side of the world saw the activity and decided their nest was being disturbed also..........This forum needs some activity so I am here to help. The thing that really bothers me in the attitude that facts are the same as opinions -- that discussing what color you prefer or music you like is the same as discussing how an engine works or a gyroplane flies. People don't seem to think they need objective reasons for supporting their positions about objective happenings. This is really dangerous when it comes to gyroplanes.
