Hi DineshMy understanding is Cierva C.4 “World’s first successful rotary aircraft” As per Colins picfirst flew January 17, 1923 at Getafe, Madrid.Cheers SamL..........

Ahhhhh found this info on the net.Sources differ as to whether this event took place on 9 January or 17 January.Maybe we can celebrate both days Cheers Mate ;D
