G,day Chuck. Two questions in fact.1: Do you know anything about these Hummingbirds ?I dont mean this kit model but the original as was flowin by themilitary and others ? Did it have a good reputation amongstpilots or was it a dog ?The reason I ask is because me younger Bro is showing an interestin the kit and boy oh boy, I'd be the one that would have to build it. The kit is only 170K US.Image Insert: 80.91

I'm sorry but I do not have any knowledge about the Humming Bird.As to writing a book, that has been a thought that I have sort of been playing with for some time, I have written some short stories and may eventually do something with them.Earnest Gann was my hero as far as a writer is concerned and I was fortunate enough to have met him and got to know him on a personal level, in fact I spent some time talking to him just a few months before he passed away, he lived about seventy miles from where I live..I wrote a story on ag flying, want me to link it here so you can read it?And sometime this summer "Todays Pilot" in the UK will have a story about how to fly the PBY that the owner had me write last year. The Humming Bird does look interesting though.Chuck
