Hi All,How would I go about getting a Gyro CPL as per CAO 40.4.3?

Gidday Mark,We went through this exercise several years ago. CASA asked Rob Glenn (then ASRA) to write the exams as described by the CAOs and the candidate passed them OK. The problem then was that he had to do, I think it was 10 hours of dual instruction followed by a flight check. That sounds easy BUT, there are no CASA certified gyros in Australia or on the Australian register, nor is there a CASA approved gyro instructor or approved person to provide the training and flight check. That"s where it ended.I"d suggest you call Rob Glenn (now CASA) on 131 757 and seek his advice.Waddles.
