      • For those who dont know, trailering is one very good way to see how well your gyro is built...specially over a dirt road! The good old Rosco is one of the few that will take the rigours of trailering.

          • Geez......if trailering is a no no for gyros, then me tinks that the / any gyro, was not strong enough in construction, trailer was not setup to suit, gyro was wrongly secured on trailer.have towed me tandem from darwin.....NQ several times. Darwin.....central qld area once.......darwin to cunnanarra once...all trips was return to NT. Now that"s thousands of km"strouble free.Didn"t that "hunchback" come to grief on the road as well. ( might pay to see the boyscouts to get tying knots sorted )

                  • The problem with the Littlewing suspension is that as it compress"s the wheels have to move out as well as up.On the trailer they couldn"t so all the force was pounding the bottom attach brackets. One cracked so I replaced all four with thicker ones out of stainless steel.

                    • Ah Murray - what grade stainless? You wouldn"t reconsider using mild steel or "molly" for those brackets would you? (painted silver?)Regards......Chook.
