Has anyone got any feedback on the Sony Action Cam HDR-AS15K? My Drift HD170 has messed it"s pants and I don"t think I"d ever buy one again.Scott

Yep got one for Christmas... Not too bad of a camera, check out the comparisons on youtube between it and the gopro"s before making up ya mind but probably a gopro3 is better, but yeah im happy with it.

Thanks Trent, did it come with a mounting bracket for the bare camera or have you got to get the waterproof housing to mount it?Scott

Hi Scott,Mine came with the waterproof mount, 1 flat and 1 helmet stick on mount, 4 gig micro SD card (which will gives you about 30 min at max quality) and two rechargeable batteries and charger. Like all good quality camera"s you need an equally good computer to run them. There is an HDMI output on the camera but I haven"t got a HDMI cable to test it out on the TV yet.

Thanks Greg, that looks damn usable to me and specially the price! It just goes to prove that it doesn"t hurt to ask if anyone has any tips.You wouldn"t believe it but my stupid Drift HD170 has decided to start talking to my PC again and I was able to instal the latest firmware.... but I still don"t really trust it.Scott
