I salute any-one who takes a bit of a risk by using his common sense. Our common sense is being bled away from us by infecting our society with the american liability disease. I think a Dr. knows the difference between a 2 seat flying barbecue chair and an A380 airliner. Look at the paper work an instructor has to fill now to train a bush cowboy. (Almost embarrassing) Once I could train a keen young kid around 17 yrs. (You knew when he was safe) and send him solo after 3.5hrs. Of course some old farts (over 25) would require over 30 hrs. The world these days is powered by bull s#@t and paper work. No wonder very little gets done any more. :"(

Totally agree with you Max.The fun has just about gone right out of teaching of how to fly.In the club which I belong, the B.S fix wing ulra light pilots have to learn is unreal.Recreational fly"n is just about out the back door.I fly my old gyro to have some fun,relieve the stress I get at work.But is it

chopper , I can"t think of a better, more user friendly association for the week end flyer, [ mind you, I"m not much of a week end flyer this year ] but anyway to all you guys concerned please keep up the good work.

parliament would try to spit you out chopper, you would corrupt their lazy time wasting , money wasting system with your honesty , realistic views and hard work. if you would leave it could be with less hair on your head because of the frustrations of all of the above and how complicated they make their world [ and they love it ]. I would vote for you of course and if you could hang in there I"m sure oz would be better for it .[ I"ve never thought about running for any government job , but I have thought how I would never be able to handle it.]
