    It appears that the 98 BP ultimate is killing the fuel tank fuel inspection drains,rubber seals are deteriorating causing leaking on three MTO"s I Know of

      I have been using 98 in my mto sport for the past two years and haven"t had a problem with seals etc as yet. I did however see one other mto that did have a problem but then found out that they had been using E10.I don"t know the difference but I do try and use Caltex 98 whenever possible. Be interested to hear other peoples experiences.

        98 has caused some grief with other folks as well, 95 seems to be less problematic,
        If you aim for nothing, you'll hit it every time

          When I am away on trips I regularly mix Avgas with 98 and to date have not had a problem. I do however run all fuel through a mr funnel and if I use more than a couple of tanks of Avgas on a trip will change the engine oil as soon as possible.
