SHOCK forgot to mix oil with fuel. AHHHHH

Some people have been known to carry a litre of oil taped to the front boom so they can stop for fuel anywhere. It puts a lump in your throat when you are flying over endless scrub after refueling and look down and see that your oil bottle is still full. (Rotaxes have been known to run on 100:1 with no percieved ill affects to the engine - the pilot is a different story).Tim McClure

Did the preflight....Fuelled her up .. yes then went and did the fuel sample.... and looked at it. No red oil AHHHHHHHHHHHH. [][]You know the feeling of your heart racing and you can't think how it all happened[?][?]. Then the penny drops, all of a sudden you look up and the engine and see that today you are flying your new []4 stroke machine. There is allways something new to learn.Fun flyingRoss B
