Presumably someone will step up and be in charge from asra and will give a pilot brief and take the responsibility to make available any notams..

Spot on birdy. That"s what I would probably say.I sorta did a land"n like that last time I was at Wondai.Got my bottie kicked and my ear chewed a little.I forgot I was at a air field. They frown on landings like that.Gone are the days I used to land on roads for a commune with nature out in the sticks. Are the sweet memories.

People,You have been asked to ensure that if you intend flying over the event, that you CARRY your ASRA Membership Card which has your qualifications printed on the reverse side. You must also ensure that your Medical qualifications are current. The Notam and weather stuff is mostly applicable to the fly-ins. There is no aviation weather forecasting service for Wondai, nor is there a Notam service. I expect that I will be doing the daily briefing stuff and I will advise at that time if there are any significant factors that may affect your operation.Facilities????? I have received several bulk emails advising of organisational progress with photos and advice of the FACILITIES AVAILABLE. I expect that if ASRA has your current email address, that you also received these emails. If you"ve changed email addresses, it is YOUR responsibility to change it in the online database. If people want specific personal attention, I"m sorry. It won"t come from the overworked 1/2 dozen volunteers who are trying to put this together.See you there.Regards,Allan Wardill
                            Waddles

In aviation, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask!

There you go Russ,no personal attention. There is a beauty salon in town if you need your nose hair trimmed or a facial etc.If you make an effort to be there with your gyro I will bring the hanger capicino machine so you can have real coffee.

Nar......not into that pooncy stuff, just the waxing ( Brazilian ) front and rear. :Saw me 1st hole in this mongrel storm cloud stuff, blue skies above it, might hava go tomorrow get above it all, track charters, refuel , then inland south Mt Coolon, Dingo, tie her down real good, overnight there, see what day 2 offers.Full days flying is impossible, rubbish till mid morn, then ok, rubbish later in the arvo,s, so 3....4 hrs max half decent.Mind you, linking up with some blond blue eyed big ######ed Swedish back packer at dingo might cause me to rethink my plans.......sorry about that.
