Thank you,I would say Bensendays is one of the biggest gyro events in the US. Or at a minimum the largest in the South East US. Last year a man stopped me and introduced his group to me. They were from Japan visiting Bensendays. I had a difficult time communicating with them. They gave me a DVD of a helicopter that one of the guys built and flew. I need to post it on youtube and see what others think about it. I just thought it was neat how we meet at the Bensendays gyro event. Is there a gyroplane event in Australia that is similar in size, etc?Check out this video of the first Bensendays I attended.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BQo9h0cu04

We have our nationals once a year, this year is at Wondai again, no other clubs put their hands up, Wondai is in Queensland, next year I believe it will be in Western Australia. It is at Easter.... we are working on getting it as big as Benson days, but we have a much smaller population than the USA, we have 24 million, I think you guys are up towards 240 million

Gee those America"ns must have more time and money than us aussies? One gyro fella had a Kenworth truck to transport his gyro and live"n quarters. Some of there gyros are very nicely painted and presented. I"m jealous big time. Wonda how many of them land in paddocks, on billy goat tracks, land on country roads to commune with nature? Not that I"ve done any thing like that ;D : ??? ???
