The trike guys up this way are getting more horses out of their 80hp engines........easy as...replace camshaft, replace pistons with forged ones.Apparantly no probs at all.Might interest some here..........

G"Day,Here in South Africa its called the 912 Extra and they claim 95hP, parts come from the States.No problems either just slighly higher oil consumption.Have a wonderfull 2009.

There are doing it down here to Russ. I believe Duane told me he had done that to his aircraft.Snapped this pic of him leaving the Clarence Point Holiday Lodge airstrip last week. Has the "912 Extra" on the fuselage.Happy New Year Weedy and All.

Why would you go to all the trouble????They already make um. ???Well thats what i was thinking, you know the rotaxs with the green tappet covers, bet it is alot cheaper and easier to just get the right motor for the job.
