  • Bush fire relief.

Just heard on the Ch7 news that the Prime minister is putting together a relief package for Bush Fire victims - BUT - its availability will be dependant upon the opposition passing his $42B handout of tax payers money???I sincerely hope I heard wrongly because Blackmail is steeping very low even for a politcian, and would show their real colours and where their priorities lie.

I’ve seen some “low life” in my day but they would be hard pressed to top some of the scum getting around as a result of these bushfires. It is unbelievable to hear what some of these “morons” get up to.Arsonists, vandalising and slashing the tyres of relief workers vehicles, looting the remains of victim’s houses, further arson attacks, even a policeman booking a man for hurrying back to try to save his son. Then we have a “learned” man (Dr Don Driscoll) stating that it is basically our fault for not heeding the cries of global warming, and that it will get worse every year. It is pretty low to use a national disaster and death to push your own barrow.
