Graham,You and me both mate.As you could probably tell, I like to speak my mind. As time goes on I cant help feeling that the not too distant future will bring less freedom and that may include what one can and cant say.It may even extend to not being able to recommend a particular brand of Chineeese Quad bike! (there you go Hoges, back on topic! )Marcus.

Some quad bikes in China are assembled by Chinese slopes..err, bloody slopes, biggest problem with Chinese manufacturing are the slopes (hard to pin down sometimes) and therefore we get this problem with Chinese products. Sloppy workmanship is present everywhere, and Australian slopes are not excluded.

Pegaso, your response here seems to be in direct conflict with your posts last year about Rod Ends

I have had bad and good experiences with chinese bikes, I have 5 kids and go through bikes like they are going out of fashion. Don"t touch the 50cc ones with that dry clutch otherwise you will be permanently keeping that burn cream in your pocket for little hands. One chinese bike that was good was the Jianshee. They are a copy of the yamaha peewees and come out of the same factory in China. This thing copped a hiding and in the end bits were falling off everywhere due to the cheaper bolts but that motor just kept chugging over, even without the exhaust that also fell off. I gave the bike away about 6 months ago and I believe the thing is still going. I deal with racism every day in my business. I get onto the forum, my only release and link to the outside world and the racist word is thrown about here too. Give it a rest I am here to talk about Gyros, not look at a few people having a mud slinging match about what they perceive in their own mind about what racism is.

As most here consider my efforts to maintain the integrity of ASRA a waste of time, I"ll be off.I am honestly amazed at the shortsightness of some of the people who have responsed. Admin: - Please delete this account and remove all posts I have made over the past 8 years.

"I hope you are not. You made a valid point, which has in fact been discussed. And noted.A very real problem in the past was censorship on this forum. The current Administrator only exercises his power when directed by the board, and notes that something has been excised. It is healthy and necessary to have conflicting views. In fact, because of these posts I asked my assistant of 35 years was she upset that I call her "the little wog" because she is petite and from Italy. She said she is doomed to be my little wog until I retire.Graham

I know this is an old thread (that also kinda degenerated off-topic somewhat) but this was exactly the kind of information I was after! What state are you in Tim? Who did you get the Jianshe from?
