I was very surprised to find in some of my late brothers gear, was a few ASRA mags from 88,89, in near perfect condition, his old membership number, and pilot"s logbook, some other interesting stuff for sure, pictures of Nev walker, bert larkin, his anfibian gyro, a lot of NQ QLD people i have heard of, a very young Jacko,Rossco, Tim Mc. Some of the stories in the mags are eirly similar to the same stuff we talk about now, so in 20 years we got nowhere on some issues. But i still cant find what i was originally looking for

Good Bones, Bert turned up at my place in TC about then and demo"ed his vw gyro. First one I ever saw fly. I was restoring a crashed Higgans gyro which we found in the gulf of Carp. Taught myself to fly it with the aid of the asra "little green book" Thought it had an oscillation in the rudder peddles and realised it was my legs shaking.
