It's hard to be sure, but that thing is probably powered by a couple of 912 s spaced farly close together, I understand their single engine performance is quite good, and the close spacing of the engines makes the asymmetrics easy to handle. Its definitely a Leza-Lockwood Aircam. From memory they were designed to fly low and slow with 2 motors for safety. 2 or 3 seat tandem is the go. Good for photography or sightseeing.Originally they had 2 x 582 donks but now they get 2 x 912/912s/914 donks.Basically a Drifter on steroids.....I want one.telfFlying - The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. there is a similar single seat type of ultralight with the motors facing forward used for dusting small cropps in south america, though i think they were designed and built by a fella in florida and could take off fully loaded with only one enguine as the props overlaped.

It would definately be a lethal weapon - with not only a very high thrustline but also very high thrust. (should be somewhere in the vicinity of 1000 lbs static thrust). Imagine what the C of G would be like with all 3 seats full.It would be lethal on the pocket too with something like $45,000 in the engines and props alone. (as long as they aren't the expensive 914's). Probably not much change out of $100k..Tim McClure
