    Chris Long is the poet, from Edmonton just south of Cairns. He is good friends with my Father.Incredibly talented bloke who has been around. Worked as a Ringer, Police officer, Commercial Pilot, Instructor and Black Belt in Karate and has several volumes of bush poetry in print. We held a launch for one his books "Top Rail Politician" at our farm at Mena Creek a few years ago.Rob

            "About the "She"l be right mate" attitude of most Australians."They say count the trucks to see how things are going. Not so many trucks on the roads round Melbourne these days. And traffic is thinner.Probably about the only place not hurting would be Canberra.At least with the redhead we had an election date.Graham
