Holly crap, is 130kts. safe in a gyro? Beautiful looking machines. I was always taught to have No lift surfaces and don"t go too fast. Austrians are no fools. I could be seduced if I had a spare 170 big ones :-

I am sure if they say i can be done safely, it must be..... they would have had the best test pilots check it out.... one would have to assume.I know my old open frame, V tail direct drive EA81 turbo with first GG 23" rotors and Sweetapple prop was good for 95 knots. Sam Polyak and Peter Harris would be able to verify this, nobody else could keep up straight and level or climbing but although steady, it was very uncomfortable.... I had to have my helmit resting on my shoulders (pull my head in.... so to speak) there was absolutely no way I could look up

What a buz to fly a couple of slightly used arrow copters back from Austria. Fit long range tanks, grow a beard and practice saying "ALLAH HUCKBAR" to get through Iran and Pakistan. Practice Hari chrishna through India. Down through asia. Weeks R and R in Bali
