  • Hi-Jacked

I think the intention of the topics under general and miscellaneous is still to relate to gyrocopters. Unfortunately it regularly gets away from this. I would like to think this site is to promote flying by information swapping rather than to progress some political ideal or viewpoint. Unfortunately one protagonist continually pops up and as such has succeeded to have an unmoving viewpoint on every topic discussed which has led to several flyers no longer posting as everything is always challenged. My intent was to help and be helped by fellow flyers and now I have decided to limit my postings to gyros only. Ken (who now lurks). P.S. I would like to apologise to all for allowing myself to be dragged into this.Happy flying!

Ken, it is so easy to get caught up in those discussions and be in deeper than intended. I wonder if Barry could include an "Off topic" section, like Todds US forum. That way politics and religion etc. can be in the "off topic" section. That way people don't need to go there if they are not interested, and not worry about missing some gyro info.Just a thought.Aussie Paul. []www.firebirdgyros.com

Probably a good idea Paul.Ken hang in there. I for one enjoy all of your posts, whatever thesubject.I also enjoy what Chuck E has to say, when he,s around.I enjoy a lively debate, even when it's inapropriate, but I dont like to start getting personal while doing it. I allowed myself to do that once in reply to thunder from downunder on the yank forum, it wont happen again.I look forward to when I have something to say about Gyro's alsobut untill then I can only fiddle around. Sorry.Robert DunnMackay. Qld.Growing old is good while it lasts.
