Yeah, looks good but fairly pricey compared to a good single kit plane that will fly faster /further and will cost much less to run eg, not having retractable gear. You can see the Partenavia ln this aeroplane. There are a few around but I havent head much about them.Brian
Nothing wrong with the 2 place kit planes Brian.I have flown the Tecnam Super Ecko, and they are great.I would need more room for groceries tho !The one above would be good for long cross country travel, especialyat night, which is the best time to fly. Affordable too, compared tothe existing twins on the market. If the one that you havent heard much about is the Partenavia, thenI can tell you that they also are a good aircraft and also nice to fly and an excellant workhorse. They are now called Vulcanair andavailable new. They make a couple of models including a Turbinepowered model. We have an older model here in Mackay that is used as a comuteraround the islands.Chheers.Robert DunnMackay. the big selling point is the fact that it has two 912's powering it! and you have pretty fair weight carrying capability with full tanks by the look of it.I was thinking of the Vans aircraft Robert, pretty good versatile aircraft particularly the RV 6 and I think the 4 seater isnt too far away.Brian
From what I have read the Vans Aircraft are pretty good also, Brian, but I have never been in one.Cheers.Robert DunnMackay. Qld.Growing old is good while it lasts.
